How much does it all cost?
Yew Tree prides itself as giving excellent value in its training of members dogs ......... If hall rental was free, as well as teas and coffees, then we wouldn’t charge a single penny as we enjoy training and organising all our shows and fun days so much. We help raise much needed funds from our Fun Dog Shows, throughout the year, for various charities in the Nottinghamshire area. As a non-profit making organisation, money from training pays for the rental of the halls as well as 3 lots of raffle prizes. When we have a show the money raised goes to the charity but also we have some overheads like the rosettes and trophies to cover, which we always try our best to get sponsored. What little we do have left over, has paid for equipment like mats for training and equipment for the fun dog shows to help us run them the very best that we can. We put 150% effort into making our Match Nights enjoyable with a free Buffet, good raffle prizes, some lovely rosettes and a BIM embroidered Towel and even more so for our themed Match Nights and Christmas Parties with visits from Santa Paws and his presents for all the members children and dogs. We run on an annual membership which goes towards all our events throughout the year but also allows a reduction in entry fees at both our Limit and All Breeds Shows. Yearly membership for 2017 is as follows: Single membership - £2.50 ( single person training )    Joint Membership - £2.75   ( two adults in family training )  Family Membership - £3.00 ( two or more adults and children under 16 in family ) There is no need to book, just turn up on the night, Training is £2 for your 1st dog then £1.50 per dog after. Refreshments avaliable at all our venues for a small charge. Raffle is £1 a strip of 5 tickets if you require. We still believe that the training we provide in all aspects of owning, training, and showing a dog from a puppy to an adult as well as handling for the show ring is the very best we can possibly give.
